Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) is a long-term oriented investment approach which integrates ESG factors in the research, analysis, and selection process of securities within an investment portfolio. It combines fundamental analysis and engagement with an evaluation of ESG factors to better capture long-term returns for investors, and to benefit society by influencing the behavior of companies.
GFL is a collaborative membership forum that brings together numerous organizations whose mission is to promote sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) across the global financial markets.
These organizations include institutional investors, asset managers, financial services, index providers, and ESG research and analysis firms, totaling more than $1.5 trillion in total assets. The Green Finance Lab is also a member of the Global Sustainable Investment Alliance, the alliance of the world's largest SIFs.
We promote discussions and proposals in order to deepen the impact and visibility of concrete actions by investment institutions that incorporate SRI into their portfolio on a national and global level, through the product of financial innovations from numerous initiatives related to this debate.
